The bay is named from  the small island where once lived a military garrison , with a small pier where you can dock.

Warning: there are rats on the island that have no hesitation in invading a yacht moored overnight on the quay

You can moor for the night in front of the two beaches in the W side; 6/10m  sandy bottom ;  attention near the beach for waves caused by the passage of ferries.
